Statement of Purpose
Our mission is to provide comprehensive, integrated and culturally sensitive school-based mental health services that support the social-emotional well being and academic success of SWSD students.
Program Overview
Our program is a collaborative effort between SWSD and local Universities. Services are provided throughout the academic school year by graduate Social Work Interns under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Our program focuses on providing a continuum of tiered supports with an emphasis on prevention early intervention. For students who present with more severe/chronic mental health symptoms, our program will provide support with linkage with our partnering community based mental health agencies.
Program Goals
