The 2018-2019 school year started August 15th. South Whittier School District welcomed students back from summer break.
Holidays include Labor Day on September 3rd, Veteran’s Day on November 9th, Thanksgiving Break on November 19th - November 23rd and Winter Recess on December 21st - January 4th.
Other holidays include Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 21st, Lincoln’s Day on February 11th, President’s Day on February 18th, Spring Break March 25th - March 29th, Cesar Chavez Day on April 1st, Good Friday on April 19th, Easter Monday on April 22nd, and Memorial Day on May 27th.
The calendar also includes a non-student day on October 5th and Minimum Days for Parent-Teacher Conference, October 9th - October 12th, and February 5th - February 8th.
The final day of classes for the 2018 - 2019 school year is June 5th.
