Some ways McKibben is accomplishing their school culture goals is through PBIS awards, monthly award assemblies, school based counseling, and a school site psychologist.

Lastly, Gallegos spoke on their school goals and how they plan on accomplishing those goals. McKibben school goals are that students will annotate and utilize information text to improve reading comprehension, students will respond effectively to information presented in diverse media formats orally or in written form across all curricular areas, and teachers will increase rigor of instructional practices that yield critical thinking skills in students. They plan on accomplishing these goals by keeping student success at the center of everything they do while implementing rigor of instruction, accountability, teacher effectiveness, differentiated instruction, and technology integration.
