Second Interim Financial Report

Associate Superintendent of Business Services, Aubrey Craig, gave a presentation regarding the second interim financial report for 2024-2025.

To begin the presentation, Mr. Craig shared the cycle of the LCAP budget and where we currently are in that cycle. He stated that these findings are a representation of the District’s financial position as of January 31, 2025.

Mr. Craig presented the different elements of the budget including revenue assumptions and expenditure assumptions. He then discussed the budget year financial status, both restricted and unrestricted, and compared the second interim findings to the first interim results. The presentation then showed multi-year projections which included assumptions, restricted and unrestricted funds, and ending balance components.

The result of the findings ended with a positive certification of the financial report.

South Whittier School District will hold its next board meeting on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
