South Whittier's Graves Middle School is now offering students a journalism class as an option for an elective.
This elective offers students an opportunity to learn multi-media and technology skills that will benefit them in college and the workforce while allowing them to explore different career options they otherwise may not be exposed to. Students get hands-on experience learning how to write, film, and edit video.
In this video Graves Middle School principal, school counselor, journalism teacher, and journalism students all share about the class, its benefits, what it’s about, and how it is beneficial for student’s futures.
