CAASPP: Identifying Areas For Additional Support

With the CAASPP testing coming up this next month, looking at last years test results and identifying your student’s areas that need additional support can help them have a more successful testing process.

Parents can find activities that match their student’s results from last year’s test in English Language Arts and Math on the Be A Learning Hero Skill Builder website. On this website you can find your child’s score report and a menu of free online tools that can help support them.

In addition to this website, parents are encouraged to talk with their student’s teacher for other supplemental activities they can do at home.

These tests are part of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress System, or better known as CAASPP, and are one element of information that helps teachers, parents, and the student understand how well the student is meeting their grade level’s expectations.
