Personnel Services oversees the hiring and evaluation of the District’s 300+
employees. The Associate Superintendent, is responsible for disciplinary matters and serves as the District’s chief negotiator for certificated and classified negotiations. Personnel Services oversees teacher credentialing and certification, as well as the implementation of certain provisions of No Child Left Behind, the federal legislation shaping all reform efforts around the state and nation. The Associate Superintendent also advises the Superintendent on personnel-related matters, and implements the Board’s personnel practices.
