The Expanded Learning Opportunities program will offer a wide range of enriching programs at each school site, including:
- Before and After School Care: Focused on academic support, enrichment, and social-emotional development in a safe and engaging environment
- Summer Programming Opportunities (at select school sites): Designed to keep students active, engaged, and learning throughout the summer months
- TK/Kindergarten Program – (elementary sites): Specialized early childhood programs focus on age-appropriate, hands-on activities on foundational skills, social-emotional development, and early learning
- Homework Support: Daily homework assistance and tutoring opportunities
- Sports and Recreation Activities: Daily structured, inclusive, non-competitive physical activity; Opportunities to participate in agency-wide and regional special events with other local districts
- Nutrition (Snack/Supper): Daily nutritious snack or supper provided
- Enrichment Clubs: Student choice-based daily enrichment opportunities
- STEM Classes: Hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and innovation in science, technology, engineering, and math
- Visual and Performing Arts Programming: High-quality arts programs in visual arts, music, dance, and theater based on student interest and cultural relevance.
