Mission Statement

 

The mission of the South Whittier Community Education Foundation is to support the South Whittier School District’s fundamental purpose of providing high quality teaching and learning via “The Arts” for (Music, Dance, Drama, and Art) in all of its district campuses. 

  

Description

 

The South Whittier Community Education Foundation was founded in South Whittier, CA in 1983 as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.  This organization was founded as a way to support the South Whittier School District in providing Extended Learning Opportunities and Activities that promote and foster the “Arts for All Program” District-wide.  The South Whittier Community Education Foundation partners with private business and professionals in all fields, as well as government agencies, and community members, to provide enrichment “Arts for All Programs” to all students in the South Whittier School District.
